Valentine's Day cookies

So I had this idea to decorate the (already made) chocolate dipped oreo cookies. Simple, easy, cute. Well.....I couldn't find the choco dipped one's anywhere. Are they seasonal? Discontinued? I was heart broken. I still wanted to make them so instead I decided to make my own. Great idea right? Right! Except by the time I was done dipping them I was a little burnt out so my actual "decorating" is a little lack-luster. Oh well, they sure do taste good!

Melt.

Dip.

Dry.

Decorate.

Done...and Delicious.

Valentine's Day Cards

So I've seen these all over the place. You can find it here

I thought it came out so cute. Except for the fact that now every time my 3 year old wants to throw a punch, I have to gently remind him that there is "no punching". He then not-so-gently reminds me that he's not punching, he's just putting his fist out to hold his lolly pop, like on his Valentine's Day card. Right...sure...3 year olds!

Valentine's day hoodie

Here's a little Valentine's Day hoodie for Ry-pie.

Here's what it started as.....

I just used a seam ripper to take off the pockets and the fur trim around the hood.

Then cut out heart shapes using red felt for the pockets (I had to cut out some smaller heart shapes cause my heart pockets weren't quite big enough to cover the original pocket). Then I just cut a long strip of felt and and sewed a straight stitch using the least tension to create the ruffle. Then sewed that around the hood. I gotta say....I love it!
