I've been stressing about Caleb's party for a couple weeks now. It's the first "friends" party that he's ever had. And I just wanted to make sure that all the kids had fun.
SUCCESS! Or at least I thought it was.
I was running around like a crazy person so I didn't take hardly any photos. Josh took some great ones but not nearly as many as I would've liked. But here are just a few of my baby boys trash party.
I was so, so, so excited when I got these. Oh My Gluestick custom made them for his trash/recycling theme and I was so pleased.
And some decorations...
I made these banners following the tutorial from my good friend Kimberly, who happens to have a hilarious blog.
Caleb and his trash tee made by yours truly.
All the kids got there very own Trash Claw 3000
And I totally wish I could take the credit for a lot of these ideas...but I can't. I got a lot of them from here.
The kids blew bubbles using plastic bottles with the bottoms cut off, covered with socks and dipped in bubbles.
Then they made little grass heads with googly eyes. I'll post a pic later when the grass head sprouts.
And they of course played.
Caleb's cake kinda got the shaft. I had wanted to decorate it real cute like a landfill with trash and flies. But we couldn't find any flies and I ran out of time to do the rest. I just added crushed up oreos for dirt and a worm leftover from the treat bags (yup, I only had ONE worm left, lol). The decorating (or lack there of) still tied in with the theme at least....sort of compost heapish.
And a trash accessory for mommy...
And I totally forgot!!!!
I had made these personalized bottle caps for all the kids and can't believe I spaced giving them out.
And I think this face says it all.
Most importantly is that he had a good time.
Happy birthday baby boy! Mommy loves you.
