I have never ever made jam, jelly, or preserves, and I never thought I wanted to until I read
this over at
Our Best Bites. It's a crazy easy recipe that's perfect for taking advantage of the great price on strawberries right now. Oh, and the recipe is right on the box with variations for all types of fruit. I used the less-sugar pectin from Sure-jell in the pink box and it came out plenty sweet. I did have to cook it a tiny bit (like two minutes) but the regular Sure-jell freezer recipe you don't have to.
And yes we had
peanut butter and jelly for dinner.
Don't judge me!
