Mod Podge canvas
I've been a huge fan of Mod Podge for a long time now. Just the smell of it takes me back to high school. (Because of all the crafting I did.....not sniffing or anything).
Ry-pie's already 9 months old and I still haven't completely finished decorating her room. I wanted to make her some cute little pictures and thought Mod Podge! Of course!!
I started out with a canvas, Mod Podge, assorted scrap book paper and a sponge brush.
I cut out my shape (in this case a tree) from one scrapbook page.
Then applied my Mod Podge to the back of the cut-out.
I'd recommend measuring your canvas and your cut-out beforehand! I have NO idea why I didn't but I just ended up trimming it later. I actually let some of the paper hang off the edges.....I just liked the way it looked.
I kept adding and Mod Podging more cut-outs of scrapbook paper until I reached my final design. And then Mod Podged over the entire canvas.
Look how cute. Matching Mod Podge pictures for my Ry-pie!
